Ever had a patient complaining of pain that was a 100 on a scale of 1-10? If so, then chances are that your patient was more than likely suffering from a condition affecting the genital and / or urinary system. Genital and / urinary system emergencies can present with severe pain and discomfort. These emergences can range from non-life-threatening to acutely life-threatening. It is extremely important that EMS responders recognize the potential for serious illness and / or injury and provide prompt treatment and transport.
This course will provide EMS personnel with an overview of Genital & Urinary System Emergencies. Worth 1.0 CEU hours, this course is approved by the State of Georgia’s Office of EMS and Trauma and accepted by the National Registry of EMS’s.
