Today’s society is quick to bring legal action for anything that could result in a settlement. This continuing education course is intended to give an overview of legal issues that affect EMS personnel. Negligence, abandonment, scope of practice, and refusal of care are some of the subjects covered.
This course is accepted by the National Registry of EMT’s and approved by the State of Georgia’s Office of EMS and Trauma for 1.0 CEU hours.
